You see, the children from various parts of underprivileged area and various Ashram Schools in our country would like to have a Information Technology (IT) knowledge. But you know how it is: government budget cuts, on top of too-small budgets in the first place, have combined to make it impossible for them to be able to do so.
Unless someone steps in to help them. Pragatee Foundation, Mumbai took one mission for IT Education called as a “Mission for 100% IT Literacy”. Through this IT LITERACY PROGRAM Pragatee foundation donated computers to Ashram School in underprivileged area and also adopts candidates from below poverty line (BPL) for Free IT Training Purpose. And that’s where you come in.
The benefits of IT LITERACY PROGRAMS are priceless: teaching children about the wonders of IT and motivating them to learn about their world is one of the best ways they can learn about themselves and develop their interests, leading to future careers in IT engineering and hundreds of other related fields.
By helping the children, you are not just helping them, but you’re also investing in the long-term future of your community and even Country. A talented, well-trained workforce is the most valuable asset of any country, and by helping our children to have the IT Knowledge they so desperately desire, you will be planting seeds for future INDIA.
Not only have that, by contributing you will also be receiving free advertising and positive public relations in the community. Would you please help? We’re planning on holding the IT LITERACY EVENT in January 2012 in various Ashram School and Underprivileged Area of Maharashtra State. By then we need to raise a total of Rupees 20 Lacs (Twenty Lacs only), which will cover equipment rentals, presentation tables and chair rentals, printed materials like entry forms and flyers and Computers.
